The Role
Overall it was a fantastic experience. The oppotunities to meet new people, network with the best professionals in the practice and gain a deep insight into life as a solicitor in the firm were plenty. The experience helped me learn a lot about commercial law and has definitely made me a more enriched person than before.
Everyone is extremely friendly and supportive.
The management and supervisors were fantastic. They always took the extra effort to teach you, support you and help you with any difficulty. They were friendly and fun to get along with but at the same time were insiprational.
Fairly busy considering the firm organises plenty of events to get to know the firm a lot better.
Not much responsibility is given to interns since they are not very experienced or are not expected to know a lot. But it varies with the supervisor one works with.
The experience has quadrupled my commercial awareness and has helped me improve my drafting skills, time management, organisational skills, social skils and professionalism.
The Company
Everyone works very hard and are committed. However they are fun people and know how to strike the right balance.
The organisation was impeccable from the events to the time management to all the resources provided. It was really smooth!
The company has invested a lot of money in sponsoring the internship from travel to accomodation. The stipend is also adequate. A lot of effort went into organising lectures to help us get a better understanding of the different practice areas of the firm.

Everyone is offered a training contract interview at the end of the internship. The prospects are great!
The Culture
Yes.
Fairly inexpensive. There was something for all kinds of budgets.
The financial district didnt have a great night life but the area near it did.
Yes. Since we were't that busy, had the opportunity to do other things.
