The Role
I really enjoyed my placement, it was a great experience overall.
I felt very valued by my colleagues and very much a part of the team. I feel we interacted well and things like team lunches etc. really helped me to get to know my colleagues better and as a result I felt accepted and valued.
My Line Manager was extremely supportive and gave me a lot of guidance. The rest of my team were extremely helpful as well.
I was quite busy on a daily basis but didn't feel overworked. I felt the targets I was set were achievable and realistic.
I felt I was given quite a lot of responsibility and I really valued this. I as able to work on three projects. My Line Manager and colleagues gave me support and feedback, but essentially the projects were mine to run and manage and I was responsible for their overall success.
I think the soft skills I developed in particular (time management, networking, project management, communication ability etc) will really serve me well in my final year in university and in my working life as well. The training we received was very helpful as well as it helped me learn more about Excel as well as the industry in general.
The Company
I felt the atmosphere was very friendly and supportive, especially in my team. It was very interactive and lively and I never felt bored or dull. We worked hard, but we also made sure to interact and have fun,. Events like team lunches etc. really help me feel valued and accepted. All in all, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and wok environment,
It was very well organized and set-up. Everything was well planned and went smoothly.
I feel that they invested a lot in me
I would very much like to work on the graduate scheme,
