The Role
Really enjoyed the internship overall, great culture at the bank and makes you feel comfortable in the work place from day 1. Lots of activities throughout the internship engaging through a range of activities during your induction such as extensive division specific training providing the basic knowledge before you start your rotations. RBS is a great place for exploring and learning many desks through the rotational aspect as well as networking with senior members.
At RBS I felt really comfortable talking to the grads and analysts on the desk talking not only about work but general things. They provide huge responsibilities from day one making you feel like the work you do makes a difference. My line managers were great especially for support throughout the Internship and happy to help out or even go for coffee sessions.
Great support given by my line managers, buddies and analysts on the desk not only for the work you are given but also for a nice chat. It was great to feel like you can go up to them whenever and share your thoughts and worries.
Very busy on most days due to the rotations I was on, was given very important work and projects. Great exposure to the bank.
Alot of responsibility was given to interns during my rotation.
Intensive division specific training provided at the beginning of your induction
