The Role
It was very enjoyable. Good support from co-workers and HR and the opportunities to develop your own skills were plenty, along with good inter-department connections and insights.
Very much actually! Even as an intern I was treated fairly and I was included in all team meetings. My opinions were taken seriously and a lot of my own ideas were supported.
Clear instructions on what to do. Given independence to complete my own projects.
Had enough time for a long lunch.
Plenty! Aside from projects, day to day work felt contributive to the success of the team. But not too much pressure, which personally I would have preferred to have.
I have yet to use those skills! But I think what I learnt will certainly benefit me throughout my studies and career.
The Company
Very chill.
Aside from IT issues (accessing the system and getting an office pass has proven tricky) all was good.
Plenty of opportunities to develop skills as well as network. I would suggest to put more effort into providing inter-department shadowing opportunities.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Provided a lot of information on location, placement and training are given well in advance, I will be happy to come back!
The Culture
Yes, through networking events as well as team challenges.
Expensive. But then again I got my flat very late.
Shoreditch was nearby, Great place for not too expensive partying.
Not many, This is certainly an area of improvement.
