  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Enjoyed it - opportunity to spend 4 weeks on 2 different desks within capital markets was a great opportunity.

  • I was given good feedback from my teams and a good level of responsibility.

  • Line managers were regularly able to help, I received quite a lot of assistance as summer is a quieter time for them.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Hours could be quite long, some nights till after midnight or so and busy most of the day. Very few days with nothing to do.

  • Given good responsibility creating pitch books and doing financial modelling

  • Really good financial analysis skills and modelling skills were developed

  • Nice, working with a lot of friendly and sociable people.
