  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed the intern ship, it was what I expected and more. Learnt loads and got a better understanding of the bank.

  • RBS really love their interns, we were made to feel like part of the team and started to produce good work

  • Full support by managers, buddies and early careers team, but still had a sense of independence

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • It changed quite a bit, some days I was extremely busy, somedays not so much. I would say that you have as much work as you ask for. If you want further opportunities they will provide them for you.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • In the final few weeks, I was starting to produce quality work which was used within the bank. I was in a customer facing role and met customers almost daily so I would say I had a decent amount of responsibility

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Technical and personal skills really developed and im sure I will use them again

  • Busy open plan office, great atmosphere, you really feel like part of the team but its quiet enough to get on with work.

  • Invested loads of training, individual members of staff always had time to help us
