The Role
Really enjoyed the intern ship, it was what I expected and more. Learnt loads and got a better understanding of the bank.
RBS really love their interns, we were made to feel like part of the team and started to produce good work
Full support by managers, buddies and early careers team, but still had a sense of independence
It changed quite a bit, some days I was extremely busy, somedays not so much. I would say that you have as much work as you ask for. If you want further opportunities they will provide them for you.
In the final few weeks, I was starting to produce quality work which was used within the bank. I was in a customer facing role and met customers almost daily so I would say I had a decent amount of responsibility
Technical and personal skills really developed and im sure I will use them again
The Company
Busy open plan office, great atmosphere, you really feel like part of the team but its quiet enough to get on with work.
Invested loads of training, individual members of staff always had time to help us
very appealing
