The Role
I enjoyed my internship to a great extent, it was very varied and covered a variety of different aspects that allowed me to be fully flexible and get the most out of the ten weeks. The team i was placed in suited my experience well and complemented my skills set and allowed me to gain valuable skills.
I felt very valued by my colleagues, they welcomed me into the team well and always supported me in my work and encouraged participation.
my manager was very supportive of what i wanted to do as well as the work given to me. She was very good to me in terms of long term goals and learning
There were days where i had to stagger my work load because it was not going to pass the day, other days when the group projects were coming closer i was so busy there was not enough time in the day.
Resposibility in terms of group work i personally had a fair bit, in terms of the department i had a reasonable amount of responsibility in some tasks.
to a great extent, especially in my work experience and skill set
The Company
Atmosphere was great, really got along with the team well, and quieter days were hard as the atmosphere was not as good.
It was awfully organised, as the first interns in Ulster, we had very little help in terms of setting up from the careers team, especially going from the UK, the organisation for Ulster interns was tragic
There was excel training which was helpful to a certain extent, other than that there was no direct other training.
Very appealing
The Culture
