The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship at J.P Morgan, it was just the right balance between being challenging but also great fun.
I felt extremely valued, after every task I completed I was sent an email of thanks or my manager would personally come and thank me for the work that I was doing. I got on very well with everyone in my team.
I had meetings every fortnight which provided me with support and guidance.
Very busy, it was only the last week when I had completed my tasks that I felt I had spare time, and then I filled it with shadowing other teams
I was given tasks which I was in charge of. It was my responsibility to ensure that everything was done.
Time management will help me a lot with my studies next year.
The Company
Very friendly, like we were part of a big family all working together. It was also very dynamic in terms of culture and the different jobs people were doing. At times people got stressed but it was really good to see how other members of the team then helped out to ensure that the task was completed without any miss-haps.
Very organized.
I didn't as such have a training week but each member of the team sat with me to go over each parts of the job.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events

Very expensive-It's London!
