  • I felt valued and confortable with the people in the team I was working in.

  • Whenever I struggled with things, people in the team were always happy to help when I asked questions.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was kept very busy during the placement as I did a lot of work for my department and was (as other vac schemers were) involved in an interesting but also difficult project.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given quite a bit of responsibility but everything I did was checked by others first to ensure that I didn't make any mistakes.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I think that a vac scheme is always a good experience to have as you develop the practical skills needed in this industry. Sometimes university doesn't always help with this! I will now be more practical and 'straight to the point' in everything that I do.

  • The whole vac scheme was organised incredibly well!
