The Role
I enjoyed my placement and learned new informaiton each day.
Both of my managers went out of their way to assist me and develop my knowledge in Food Property matters.
I was given as much support as I needed and I was also left to work things on my own which developed my knowledge a great deal.
I was always busy which I enjoyed becuase I had projects to work on which made the job interesting at all times.
I was asked to assist with the larger store disposals as well as being given a number of smaller stores to manage myslef.
I have learned a great deal about Disposals, Food Property and working within a business.
The Company
Everybody was friendly and there were occasional nights out and social events.
I was informed of all of the goings on and given plenty of warning about meetings and social occasions. The co-ordinator also contacted me regularly to make sure that the placement was a success.
I was given a great deal of guidance and chances to personally develop.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I graduated from university so I have signed a contract to stay on for another year.
The Culture
There were regular nights out and social gatherings.
Manchester isn't the cheapest city while earning a low wage although I did manage to go out on a regular basis.
The nights out that I went on with work were all really enjoyable.
There was occasional offers of sport and other social activities.
