The Role
I enjoyed my internship. It was a great way to learn various technical skills and meet meet people from various backgrounds.
My colleagues were very helpful. They were always ready to help and no question was a stupid question to the. They
I had a senior advisor who was an ED and I also had a buddy from the grad program. My manager was also there for support and we had various networking events with our senior advisors and buddies.
I was given work regularly and daily reporting tasks that I had to do. In the first week, I mainly had to read but after that every week I learned a new task which I had to take on.
I was given a lot of responsibility where the reports I generated contributed towards final numbers.
I have developed various technical skills which I believe will help not in my degree but also any work I do after my degree. I built communication skills and networking skills. I also learned how to work in stress environments when there are urgent deadlines to meet various issues to be solved at the same time.
The Company
It was very friendly and always very busy. We also had regular team events which made it easier to know people.
The internship was set up very well with access to various resources around the firm .We had classes that we could take online to learn about different products. There was enough senior support, We had various networking events which enabled us to network through all divisions in the firm.
In development and training the firm invested a lot. We had classes which we could sign up to for example excel essentials, project management and specific product type classes.

The grad program at the firm is very appealing because its a 3 year rotational program so you get an idea of various teams and products,. the career growth within the firm is very good where you can move around teams and departments,
The Culture
There was a good social scene. As interns, we had regular drinks and in my team we had two outdoor summer events. We also went on team lunches and drinks a few times.
The cost of living is high in the area you work in but there are decent places which don't charge too much. The canteen is pretty decent and has various types of cuisines.
N/A
Yes there were many opportunities to get involved from sports to business resource groups.
