The Role
Very enjoyable, wider team was very proactive in finding meaningful work for me to do and were very supportive.
Very much so in my team but it is my understanding that this is variable across the bank with some interns not being treated well.
Yes
Very suitably busy, typical work hours 8-6 or similar.
A lot given my time spent within the team, I was given lots of meaningful.
Yes
The Company
Beaut
It was well structured but spent a lot of time getting systems access etc
Spent three days with Fitch Learning being taught the basics of Finance and Excel. I already knew most of the content but appreciate this would be valuable if you were a history student at Bristol University.
Subsidised Canteen
Variable
The Culture
Yes, as is common with other city internships most people were up for a good drink after work.
Cost of living was high, but this is typical of London.
Great, but expensive, both because the internship was city based.
