The Role
Worked within a good team and was given high levels of responsibility. The experience was valuable, whilst enjoyable.
Frequent recognition when appropriate, with valuable feedback offered. The team were thankful when work was completed for them, lightening their workload.
Line manager offered a large amount of support and guidance. contact with my line manager was regular and informative. I also had the support of a graduate within my team who gave me advice on day-to-day work and future opportunities on the graduate programme.
Given large amounts of responsibility and work. It also included a lot of customer interaction where I was able to improve my skills daily. At the same time i was allowed a reasonable amount of time to work on my project and CSR activities.
A good amount of responsibility was given, including customer interaction.
It has improved my personal skills. It may not help my degree studies directly but will benefit me in jobs beyond university.
The Company
Relaxed. All teams were nice and interested in our roles.
Took a bit of time to get going with access to buildings and IT systems, but from there it was smooth;y run.
No additional training throughout the internship, but learnt on the job
Appealing atmosphere to work in
The Culture
Good social scene with fellow interns as in a smaller office where we spent more time together outside of work.
Cost of living was reasonably low but no help from the company, even in terms of information. Socialising only with other interns
Didn't experience it but heard it isn't great.
No. One 5 a side football match against other employees within the bank in the final week was the only one.
