  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • If i didn't have to return to uni, i would have never left!

    • Despite working with much older people, was always respected and felt like part of the family

    • My boss was very helpful, showing me things when he didn't have to

    • Once installation commenced i was very busy, working overtime a lot

    • I worked fr the main project manager and was essentially second in charge of the whole project - didn't expect so much responsibility

    • I wasn't self confident before the placement and now i feel ready for any role

    • Very friendly - everyone knew everyone else

    • Not overly well set up - i was very lucky to land my project as there aren't always such big projects...some people could be left doing process improvements

    • No a lot of official training, but my managers sent me on courses with them.

    • There weren't any other placement students

    • Low

    • Quite good. 10 mins from Sheffield student district
