The Role
I enjoyed internship and thought it was an informative and worthwhile experience.
My line managers and colleagues recognised you were there to get stuck in as much as possible and gave valuable work for interns to complete whenever the opportunity arose.
They were always available to give support and guidance.
There was a basic amount of work set, but you had to be very proactive and ask around for work in order to fill your day.
I felt valued and did real work that employees would undertake
I gained a great of confidence in delivering presentations and talking to new people
The Company
Warm, friendly, supportive
It was initially slow to begin with but after the first couple of days it was very well organised.
There were plenty of opportunities for personal development and learn about different areas of the bank outside of the one you worked in.
