The Role
A thoroughly enjoyable internship programme that was very sociable and fun.
My colleagues really did support me and didn't just use me as a resource to get work done. They gave me work that was relevant and supported my development instead of menial tasks.
My manager was very approachable and we had contact regularly.
I was given work that was relevant and enjoyable but wasn't swamped with work or put under too much time pressure.
I attended client meetings and was given follow up work too complete. By the end of the internship you are trusted to complete a wide range of tasks without any support from your team.
I feel like I have acquired a wide range of skills, both technical and personal skills.
The Company
A very relaxed office but hardworking nevertheless. There were may team meals and social events throughout the internship which lead to a really friendly atmoshpere amongst the team.
The internship was very well structured and gave you the flexibility to go and explore different areas of the company.
There were various training events throughout the internship, some were more relevant than others but there certainly was training available.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing and the structure organisation means you can progress quite quickly in my opinion.
The Culture
The graduates and the interns got on really well so there were always things going on. My team also went for drinks most Thursday's which was good to see and the interns were always invited along.
London is really expensive but that is to be expected. The area the office is in is quite cool but this means the restaurants and and bars are good but quite pricey!
There are sports team and squash courts available so you can get involved in them if you want
