The Role
steep learning curve and supportive colleagues. I would recommend.
Encouraged to network and ask questions. Although, I did feel part of a wider popularity contest as the internship went on. You have to be aware to who you are speaking to at all times, as you need to leave the right impression on senior people if you want any chance of securing employment.
Throughout, yet there were communication issues between managers and HR. Some were unaware of the programme details and so support was limited in some instances.
Fairly - primarily networking across the business, with the occasional project deadline and late night to finish.
Limited by qualification and licensing requirements, so not a lot.
It may me realise that you have to be ready to play a game, as well as delivering high quality output. It was as much about impressing seniors as it was performing well on the desk. I had already finished my degree, so question is irrelevant.
The Company
Open, supportive and intern friendly on one rotation, the opposite on the other.
Lack of communication between the business and HR on a number of occasions. Average.
Pay was generous, training throughout and before was average.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Above 25 days holiday
