  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The markets internship provided a good insight to fixed income and fx sales and trading, the people are very easy to get along with but there is a fundamental lack of expectation for the interns.

  • Depended entirely on the desk.

  • Again desk dependent.

  • Not relevant to my degree at all, but gave a useful insight into what a future career in investment banking might look like.

  • Mostly very welcoming.

  • Lack of communication regarding what is expected of interns during the time.
