The Role
I was very pleased with the amount of programmes given to the interns and the opportunities for exposure different parts of the bank
My colleagues are very friendly and helpful. They know their fields quite well
My manager was quite helpful. My manager helped me to interact with other colleague
Quite busy, but the hours are okay if you work from 9 to 5. I just want to be at the company so I usually came a bit earlier and left a bit later
As an intern in IT, trainings and familiarisation to the process can take a lot time. I was assigned to drive the team's initiatives and individual's innovations. I had to work up to deadline and my outputs impacted others productivity. My responsibility to the team is quite important as my goals will help facilitate the work flow faster
I learn more about the logic side, which I have never got a chance to study in the University. Also a lot of soft skills for teamwork and project management
The Company
People are friendly and focus to their work. Though lunchtime is more relaxed
Very well structured. You will always get helps, just need to ask at the correct time and correct place
A lot of technical training and sufficient support about the role. Each intern will do almost different thing compared to another. Shadowing is a vital learning tool
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
Everyone here passes Assessment Centre so all of the interns are talented and have the characteristic promoting teamwork and synergy.
The Culture
Friendships were made but only to a limited amount of interns. We got chance to do networking but it depends on your preference about establishing relationships among colleagues and students
Rent are alright (not that cheap due to the tenancy lenght) Food are expensive if you eat out (but they are good)
Some vibes but not that crowded. You will not be disturbed in your neighbourhood. But you can choose to go to certain amount of pubs and they have good atmosphere as well
