The Role
My colleagues were very helpful and I had many fun tasks to complete
I was involved in the work place and outside work in social events
I had a manager who provided monthly meetings with me on a one to one basis. I also had a colleague who was on hand and happy to answer any questions who has been at the company for over 15 years
There were times when I needed more work but when I asked for more I was given more, I was never too busy it was just right
I had some projects that are global within the company that I was the owner of and run on a monthly basis
I had many all day placement training sessions which were very beneficail to me from team work to customer service. I have learnt so much this year that I would never of had the opportunity with out the year in industry
The Company
Very fun but also professional, we all had fun but also got a lot of work done.
We had a change of placement leader this was not ideal but after that there was a lot more direction and they have asked for our feedback so it can be approved
there was no particular individual training but I was trained via my job tasks by colleagues
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
The placement I took over from is coming back as a graduate and some managers have worked up from graduate
The Culture
There were a lot of other placements and graduates and so there was a good social atmosphere
a little bit more expensive than average as it is a good commuting place for London
limited as it is a small town but we make the most of it, some nice bars
A few sporting activities and also regular cinema trips and trips with networks in the company
