About You
It was very useful and helped me to develop extensive skills that allow me to engage and explore the working environment of an engineer. I enjoyed every part of the Job, from the diversity of job roles, to the responsibilities given.
On my first week I was given a great sense of responsibility and freedom to explore the jobs I was given. Trust, alongside challenging decisions made me feel like a valued employee and the attitude that workers had at Rochester was superb!
Guidance was given alot in a time of need, of just general jobs. I always felt like I could approach people on my team and am very happy with the support given
I learned simple but strategic theories that enabled me to understand the company and external industries framework for success. I was also able to apply knowledge from my degree to help excel in projects and analysis of data.
The Company
The Insight was well structured and clearly planned out. The only issue was starting later than I expected, but once I did, the structure was very clear and enjoyable.
The whole insight was an inspirational journey and allowed me to develop essential skills for the rest of my degree and future Job roles. The operations team at Rochester was phenomenal and made my insight enjoyable and exciting. Inspirational people, Inspirational work.
Programs like Success factors and Skill port enabled me to develop essential skills needed for the job. This helped me understand the industry and apply particular structures to my work
I was given a great sense of responsibility and was treated like a proper employee. All staff were polite and helped if needed and Jobs were given to show what operations do.

Everything Else
Yes, I was adequately paid for my work and even offered overtime. The pay was got and am very grateful to be paid while enjoying my job roles.
Yes, all the graduates and Summer Interns met and ate lunch together and also had socials after work hours. There was a good sense of work and socialising within the company, which helped motivation and gave confidence and achievements much greater.

Yes, This was presented in the beginning introduction when starting the job, and was clearly explained and shown. The computers also displayed this information, making it easier to advertise and showcase events.
Many people would really enjoy this diverse Job, and I would strongly advise the job to anyone looking for and engineering, business or design career.
