The Role
It was a good week. As well as doing work in the Construction department, there were assessments and social events. It was very well organised
The solicitors did really appreciate the work that I helped them with
The people in my department were great and my supervisor was very helpful.
Most of the time I had work to do. Occasionally I did ask around and no one had anything, but quickly enough someone always came up with something
I had never done any work in Construction previously, and I was only there for a week, so I did not expect responsibility
Definitely worthwhile for my future career in law - another area that I now have some experience in
The Company
Everyone was very friendly, and although sometimes people seemed stressed, others in the department seemed to keep morale up
Very well organised
Not applicable as I was only there for a week
Company Parties/Events
I still haven't heard whether I have been offered a training contract. There were a lot of vacation scheme students so it was still very competitive
The Culture
Trainees were fun and seemed to go out a lot together socially
Leeds is pretty cheap
I was a student here so have the highest regard for it!
Trainees very pro-active socially so yes
