The Role
Great, friendly team. Thorough experience, was treated as though it was on a full-time basis.
Juniors were extremely friendly and inclusive, asking for thoughts and collaborative working. Less contact with the Seniors though this is perhaps more understandable and on the occasion of rare contact, they were friendly.
This was perhaps the most frustrating part, apart from the mid-term review, the feedback was not that frequent - even if constructive
Generally extremely busy, with little down time, especially as time progressed - not that this is a bad thing though, time flew by.
There was a fair amount of independence and you were given as much responsibility as you can handle. Obviously you cannot run the show as an intern but exposure to live transactions and genera business was on point.
Generally very useful, not really for my degree, but certainly for life.
The Company
The people in the team are very fun and normal people, though due to the amount of business going on, there wasn't a lot of time for going out.
Very well set up.
Had a week of training which was useful but throughout people were generally patient and took the time to teach you.
Great opportunity to build a career at the firm.
The Culture
The people are generally very good, but people do work hard.
It's expensive, but it's London...
Again, it's London, so it's good..
There are many clubs and societies, in addition to a gym, though again time pressure.
