About You
I believed it was incredibly useful as an insight into Lloyds and the wider world of finance itself.
Obviously as an intern you're not vital to any operation but I still felt very valued - people were friendly to me and put hours into helping me grow in the workplace.
I received quite alot of guidance and support, and if ever it was lacking then I could always ask and someone would help me.
I learnt many importan skills, such as time managament, customer handling and improving customer service. All of these will help me in my life and in any job.
The Company
Fairly well structured, there was clear dates when stuff had to take place such as mid term reviews.
Overall I found the work challenging when I had work, however sometimes due to where my placement was I didn't have alot of specific work, so time passed slowly then.
Alot of time was spent improving my skills and alot of resources - always got the feeling that Lloyds did want to invest in me.
This was the most important thing I learnt, I defintely understood what i meant to work full time by the end of my placement,
I quickly got a feeling of the ethics of Lloyds, and their wider ethos. An ethos that I enjoyed.
Very helpful, really made me aware of what I did and didn't enjoy.
Everything Else
Lloyds were very good at making sure I was financially secure doing my placement.
Loads of opportunities, it was fantastic. Even random people in the company were willing to take me on for a day.
They fulfilled their purposed well.
Lloyds has plenty of scope for this with lots of charity work.
I absolutely would, it is a high quality placement for a leading firm with a good salary and location.
