The Role
I enjoyed it a lot. I met many intelligent people and learned a lot.
The projects I was working on seemed really useful for my team so they enjoyed and valued my work.
My mentor was extremely helpful, as he was constantly assisting me with all Bloomberg-specific technologies and services.
I did not have any hard deadlines so I did not feel pressured or busy.
The projects I was working on were definitely not critical.
There will be a lot to reuse but I had to learn a certain amount of Bloomberg-specific information which will not be very useful for the future.
The Company
The atmosphere was really professional. People definitely know they are here to work and not just have fun. I really enjoyed that as I felt I was part of a serious focused development.
There were few things could have been improved, for example the requests for service permissions. They could have easily been done before my arrival so that I do not need to wait so long.

The Culture
Yup definitely. I made many friends during all the events that were organized for interns.
The office is in one of the most expensive areas in London so socializing was definitely not the cheapest thing.
London is amazing so nightlife was of decent quality.
Plenty of options.
