The Role
Was able to perform tasks that interest me.
Was given important tasks to help out manager, felt very valued.
Great support offered by my manager and other team members, always willing to explain in more detail things that were going on. One team member is very willing to offer support and advice to me when undertaking my final year project (its in a topic he's familiar with).
First few weeks were hard to find work but after settling in I was always able to find something to do.
Was encouraged to get actively involved in project work, I was also given a specific project to manage.
Got some very useful experience in project management, all the data analysis I was doing will help me in my final year in a couple of modules I am required to do.
The Company
Always some good humored banter flowing around between team members.
Nicely structured at the begining with the use of a student night to send off old students and welcome the new ones.
There was a variety of online training course that I was encouraged to use if I wanted to learn something new or even to refresh my memory.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare from home
Will depend on what jobs they have available, although they do prefer to hire old placement students back if they did well at the company.
The Culture
Made some good friends there
Cheap if you find the right places, obviously central london is expensive though.
Any nights in central London could be expensive but you can still have a good night out.
A couple of opportunities depending on what you like doing.
