    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Quite enjoyed, although the branch is Geotechnical engineering which I don't study until third year so my scope was limited. (I just finished 1st year). I was proactive in asking for work from other teams.

  • I read up on next year's lecture notes as I had time, but I also learnt a lot about geotechnical engineering which will help me in 3rd year.

  • Calm, quiet, but enjoyable and pleasant

  • Basic Health and safety questionnaires. The team also personally taught me the basics of soil mechanics
