The Role
It was really enjoyable as I was able to work with a variety of different people on a large variety of projects.
Always felt I was doing work that was needed and that would be used in the final outputs
Everyone on the team was willing to give guidance when needed and even helped when i didn't ask! My supervisor always checked in on me each day to make sure i was doing ok and had enough work etc
Busyness was based on the availability of projects. I could be really busy one day then have hardly any work to do the next.
The first project I was put on was a legal case. I was also given entire desk studies to complete on my own.
It was a great experience of the working world and I learnt a lot about engineering geology, and if i was to do an engineering geology masters it would have helped immensely.
The Company
Very Friendly and social
Apart from a few glitches with HR and dates. it was very well organised and all staff knew what was going on and what I should be doing.
Always gave me extra reading and advice. The team also volunteered to check over master projects etc
Great company
