  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was really enjoyable as I was able to work with a variety of different people on a large variety of projects.

    • Always felt I was doing work that was needed and that would be used in the final outputs

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • Everyone on the team was willing to give guidance when needed and even helped when i didn't ask! My supervisor always checked in on me each day to make sure i was doing ok and had enough work etc

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • Busyness was based on the availability of projects. I could be really busy one day then have hardly any work to do the next.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • The first project I was put on was a legal case. I was also given entire desk studies to complete on my own.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • It was a great experience of the working world and I learnt a lot about engineering geology, and if i was to do an engineering geology masters it would have helped immensely.

    • Very Friendly and social

    • Apart from a few glitches with HR and dates. it was very well organised and all staff knew what was going on and what I should be doing.

    • Always gave me extra reading and advice. The team also volunteered to check over master projects etc
