The Role
Completely surpassed my expectations both at and away from the desk.
Other members of the brand were very complimentary and often would recommend yourself to others following a request.
Very clear communication and support between line managers as well as other senior members of the department.
As the year went on and your reputation grew you were asked to get involved in more projects and new reports. Healthy split between routine reporting and ad-hoc tasks. Some late night are required but these are not often.
As much as an undergraduate could realistically ask for. Grew as the year went on with the chance to project manage and take a key parts in larger projects.
Skills gained are definitely for the workplace although work ethic and approach to take are definitely transferable.
The Company
Could be quiet on some days with some team members out of the office but a real strong team bond throughout the department.
Regular training and appraisals throughout the year.
Opportunity to sign up to a vast array of courses over the year.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Car
National Travel
International Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Chance to apply for the graduate scheme where you can be fast tracked to the assessment centres.
The Culture
Strong relationship between undergraduates, graduates and other team members. Regular social events throughout the year.
Cannot comment on rent however as with all cities to visit nice places incurs greater cost.
Milton Keynes has a small amount of nice bars and clubs however nothing on the larger cities. Quick access into London though.
Dependant on personal interests but we set up an 11 aside Sunday league team.
