The Role
It was a great experience, where you are given a lot of responsibility.
The company makes you feel welcome and you are treated as an equal. You are treated as an employee and not an intern.
Everyone is approachable and happy to help whenever you have any questions. This stretches further than the people in your immediate circles.
This can vary, dependant on what is available, at the start the workload wasn't great but there has been weeks where I have been completely kept busy.
You are given the right amount of work for your skill set. I wasn't expected to know how to do technical work as the internship wasn't really long enough. However the team includes you and is more than happy to show you any work they are on.
I have developed a lot of transferable skills such as organization and communication which will put me in good stead for university and work afterwards.
The Company
Comfortable and open.
Well organized, even though it is a short internship there is a lot packed into the time to give you a good experience.
They invest a lot with the induction and training in general. You definitely see that they want you to come back and work for them.
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing, there are various roles in different service lines. There is also help to transfer internally.
The Culture
Yes, the Intern atmosphere is really good. Open and friendly, however I don't think it is something that relates specifically to this internship. I assume its the same with most.
Fairly manageable
Average
There aren't too much, but that was because it was over the summer. There does seem to be a lot going outside of the workplace throughout the year.
