The Role
Highly insightful and enjoyable 10 week period.
Although the internship only lasted 10 weeks, I was really made to feel like a valued part of my team.
My line manager along with members of my team were very helpful in answering any questions that I had.
Varied. Some days were quieter than others but at times I was constantly busy throughout the day.
Each bit of work I undertook was both necessary and valued by my team. I did not once feel that I was doing work for the sake of it.
In large, the most valuable skills were developed by simply working within a large organisation. These professional skills can help anyone, regardless of their degree type.
The Company
I was based in Milton Keynes but my team were based in Leicester. However, this was not an issue as I travelled to Leicester once a week and my team travelled to Milton Keynes once a week as well. All offices were both welcoming and friendly.
The internship placement itself was well set up, but there were miscommunications between recruitment and the relevant business sectors.
Although mandatory training was a given, there was little time dedicated solely to training and development. However, the majority of development I undertook was on the job and highly useful.

Would welcome a return. Friendly and professional atmosphere with a clear line of career progression.
The Culture
I lived at home in London throughout the period so this was not as applicable to me.
Unsure.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility project allowed us to get involved in this side of the business and to gain more knowledge of Milton Keynes.
