The Role
The internship was very enjoyable, the people were very welcoming and we received a lot of support throughout.
My manager and colleagues included me in as many meetings as projects as possible, regularly requesting feedback and input.
I met once a week with my manager for a 121 and had regular contact with my recruitment partner about my progrss and development.
Being busy fluctuated throughout the internship, when the team was busy so was I, on quieter periods I think the team struggled to find me certain work but always accomodated this with research tasks.
I was given certain projects to complete and I felt like my contribution made a genuine impact on the business.
I learnt a lot about the mortgage department and feel as though the 10 weeks have provided me with lots of industry knowledge and softer skills.
The Company
Fantastic atmosphere, a team of really good people.
It is a scheme that is constantly adapted, more dial ins and knowledge sessions would improve things.
I was included on training events and given access to many of the internal systems.

The Culture
Yes, the onboarding and offboarding events as well as charity fundraisers brought all interns together.
Leeds/Bradford was very reasonable.
Leeds is a great city for nightlife.
Lots of out of work opportunities.
