The Role
Good atmosphere, and lots of extra things aside from work that made it fun e.g. Team away days, Finance Sports Day.
As you have your own projects to work on you do feel valued and useful.
If I needed it, the support was there on the whole.
Some days extremely busy.
A lot. Daunting at first but means you are valued by colleagues and you learn a lot very fast.
A lot of transferable skills e.g. time management, dealing with different people, working to tight deadlines.
The Company
Very friendly, happy and relaxed.
On the first day you're put in your team and the amount of structure depends on your line manager.
By giving me real responsibility they allowed me to learn on the job.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Big company and lots of career opportunities. At the end of the 12 weeks they decide whether to invite you back for an assessment Day for the UFLP.
The Culture
Good group of friends but most went home at weekends.
Expensive (London).
Leatherhead - nothing. But Wimbledon is nearby.
