  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Good atmosphere, and lots of extra things aside from work that made it fun e.g. Team away days, Finance Sports Day.

  • As you have your own projects to work on you do feel valued and useful.

  • If I needed it, the support was there on the whole.

  • Some days extremely busy.

  • A lot. Daunting at first but means you are valued by colleagues and you learn a lot very fast.

  • A lot of transferable skills e.g. time management, dealing with different people, working to tight deadlines.

  • Very friendly, happy and relaxed.

  • On the first day you're put in your team and the amount of structure depends on your line manager.

  • Big company and lots of career opportunities. At the end of the 12 weeks they decide whether to invite you back for an assessment Day for the UFLP.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Good group of friends but most went home at weekends.

  • Expensive (London).

  • Leatherhead - nothing. But Wimbledon is nearby.
